Tracing the thread; Ames Chat

My hunch about Ames Chat seems correct: university library staff interested in sharing material. Going back to the start of that blog, last June, I found what I think to be the initiator of the blog, Stephanie Davis-Kahl, a librarian who is also involved in other collective blog enterprises at Wesleyan University in Illinois, one of which is called IWU Teaching Blog. This one involves a score of participants who seem to be interested in adapting various Web 2.0 technologies to the instructional setting, discussing for example, the pros and cons of blogging in a learning setting and the differences between blogging and maintaining a wiki. This blog seems to still be active; the most recent post is from last month. Another blog initiative, the IWU Summer Reading Program, is now defunct, but the posts remain valuable to consult.
