MyExperiment

Yuwei Lin at the National Centre for e-Social Science (NCeSS) posted the following note to the AIR-list today, which includes the URL for a very interesting initiative called MyExperiment. The initiative promises much:

myExperiment makes it really easy for the next generation of scientists to contribute to a pool of scientific workflows, build communities and form relationships. It enables scientists to share, reuse and repurpose workflows and reduce time-to-experiment, share expertise and avoid reinvention.

The above is reason enough for all of us involved in the Ljubljana seminar to examine the documentation and software available from the site. I will be doing so in the next few days and encourage all involved in the seminar to do so in order that we may discuss it during our Adobe Connect meeting this coming Thursday.
